A Timperio et al (2010) Neighbourhood physical activity environments and adiposity in children and mothers: a three-year longitudinal study BMC Journal of Behavioral Nutrition & Physical Activity, 7: 18. Authors’ description from abstract:
‘This study examined associations between objectively-measured environmental characteristics of neighbourhoods and adiposity cross-sectionally and longitudinally over three years in children and their female carers.’
This paper was the ‘winner’ following our poll of longitudinal studies addressing different public health topics.
